Interested in voting by mail?  Here are the new state laws for 2022:

  • Voters will now have to provide either their Texas Identification, TXDL, EIC number; OR the last four digits of their Social Security number on both their ballot application and carrier envelope.
  • Important Note: Number provided on the application must match your Voter Registration Record.  We recommend putting both numbers, if applicable.
  • Pregnant women expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day may now vote by mail.
  • Voters may now hand deliver their ballot application to the County Clerk’s Office. (not later than the 11th day before Election Day)

Ballot Language

There will be 3 separate bond propositions on the ballot.  Voters will be asked to vote “for” or “against” each one. The ballot is 2 pages long, so be sure to read through both pages.

PROPOSITION A

THE ISSUANCE OF $79,450,000 OF BONDS BY THE LONDON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SCHOOL FACILITIES, AND THE LEVYING OF A TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

PROPOSITION B

THE ISSUANCE OF $15,180,000 OF BONDS BY THE LONDON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR A SCHOOL STADIUM COMPLEX, AND THE LEVYING OF A TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

PROPOSITION C

THE ISSUANCE OF $1,500,000 OF BONDS BY THE LONDON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENTS, AND THE LEVYING OF A TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF. THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.
